Overheard on last night's ALDS game
Chip Carey: "There's really no such thing as an 'easy save' in Major League Baseball".
Oh really??
So pitching 3 innings with leads of 11 runs, 21 runs, and 27 runs doesn't qualify as an "easy save"
'Cuz it seems pretty damn easy to me.

Chip Carey was also beyond convinced that Paul Byrd was "outstanding" in Game 4 of that ALDS when he put 10 runners on base in 5 innings and somehow managed to allow only 2 runs. "Outstanding?" No. Lucky? Yes.
